warm

on our morning walk, i snapped a few pics of things that are cold - our neighbor's daughter's snowman, some dead leaves at the foot of a tree, ducks in the pond huddled together, and finally some dirty, gray and frozen snow. however, while the weather was cold, i was feeling pretty good. i finally got through a bunch of stuff at work that had piled up while i was out sick. at lunch i heard about my father and stepmother's recent trip to egypt. i got a new battery for my laptop so i don't have to be connected to an outlet anymore. and finally i came home to reg, who is just the best greeter ever - the wagging tail is just awesome. at any rate, i chose this pic for today because it's warm, comforting, it was really yummy while i was eating it, and lastly, the cut chive in the spoon is in the shape of a heart. i dig it.
