anticipation

today marks two events worth noting: first - this is my first person pic for the blog; and second - today was the first time daryn and i got to ride the cruiser! the motorcycle was officially purchased last weekend, but the weather has been really crummy since then. luckily, today was beautiful!! after taking reg for a walk, daryn and i went on over to my parents' where the bike is for now, and we took turns riding it around the neighborhood. while it handles quite differently from the dual purposes i'm used to, it is much more comfortable. daryn rode the bike first, and i like this pic because he jumped right into his helmet, and was waiting anxiously for my dad to stop fiddling with it so that he could ride it; just like a little kid waiting to open a present.
