i took exactly two photographs today, one of which was in focus. this is what you see below. it's a donkey decorated with paper mache in the media and public affairs building at gw. it was originally part of an art installment, and then when it was all over, gw kept this donkey, and an elephant that's also decorated with paper mache. they sit outside the auditorium where the political talk show, "crossfire", used to be filmed. writing this now, i realize that maybe i should have taken a second to read some of the quotes on the donkey, but i didn't. so this will have to do.
