florida!

yes! dc has been so cold and crummy as of late, that i've forgotten that there are places that actually provide a nurturing environment for things to grow naturally. just check out these giant lemons that are growing in my grandmother's garden!! even though it's relatively "cold" here in florida (high of 60), it's been great not bundling up every morning. it's also been great having my grandmother all to myself!

i've also switched from my 50mm 1.8 lens to the standard 18-50mm 3.5 lens, and i'm enjoying rediscovering framing flexibility...
